In this section we shall expose the fundamental notions of electronics that will give us a deeper understanding of all the subjects treated in this course. Practically every aspect of sound engineering, in dealing with sound pressure being converted to an electric signal, involves laws and principle electronics: a good comprehension of these concepts allows us to work with greater awareness in the context we're working in, thus obtaining better results. In this chapter we will investigate the nature of electronics and its usage in simple circuits, whose operative characteristics we shall reconnect to those present in machines commonly used in sound engineering.
