The Chorus effect goes yet further than the Phaser and the Flanger, adding a module which introduces variations in the manipulated signal's amplitude:

Chorus Effects and signal processors -

The time, amplitude and pitch variations produce an effect which is similar to the sound of a chorus- hence the effect's name.

The following is an example of a sound to which a Chorus effect has been applied.
