The Chorus effect goes yet further than the phaser and the flanger, adding a module which introduces variations in the manipulated signal's amplitude:

Chorus

The time, amplitude and pitch variations produce an effect which is similar to the sound of a chorus, hence the effect's name.

The following is an example of a sound to which a chorus effect has been applied.
