Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts.

    Supplied power
    This is the power that the amplifier is capable of supplying at its output. Two values are taken into account: an average value, called nominal power, that indicates the power the amplifier is capable of supplying constantly, and an instantaneous value, named peak power, that indicates the power the amplifier is capable of supplying within a definite time-span.
